ABOUT THE FARM HOUSE
The Farmhouse at Mill Creek sits on a working family farm in Pollocksville, North Carolina, nestled in the quiet of Eastern NC with the Croatan National Forest right across the road.
This is a 120-year-old home place, newly restored and full of the kind of details you only find in a house that has been genuinely loved across generations. Nothing here is generic. Everything has a story.
Guests come from across the country to unplug here. There is no TV and no WiFi, and most guests tell us that turned out to be their favorite part. What there is: two porches, a well-stocked kitchen, a big farm table, and the kind of stillness that is genuinely hard to find anywhere else.
Across the road sits the Croatan National Forest, home to deer, foxes, wild turkeys, black bears, and more. This is Eastern NC at its most unhurried. Downtown New Bern is 15 minutes away when you want it. Emerald Isle beach is 45 minutes. But the farm has a way of keeping people right where they are.
Hosted by Mary Ann, a Pollocksville native who runs this as her family farm and opens it to guests who value peace, healing, and genuine rest. With over 60 five-star reviews and a 4.98 rating on Airbnb, the Farmhouse at Mill Creek is one of the most loved stays in Eastern North Carolina.
A Note About the Farm:
This is a real working farm, and we love that about it. You may see tractors, mowers, animals grazing, and all the beautiful activity that comes with that. Please enjoy a stroll along the paved road, stay clear of neighboring pastures and fields, and please do not feed the animals. During hunting season you may notice more deer traffic, hunting dogs, and the occasional sound of gunshots in the distance. It is all part of life out here, and we think you will come to love it too.
